Description:

Information and Marketing Services wished to have a database of all news releases that pertain to mining activity in Ontario. Using ASP and MS SQL, a web database application was created to enable staff to search the database and one staff member was responsible for recording new release information daily.

Completed and operational

Client:

Description:

Their wish was to have a series of webpages that promote the active mining industry of Ontario. Economically significant mining operations were to be highlighted along with their commodity. These pages were to have a similar look and feel as the Geophysical Atlas project (shown below).

Ontario Ministry of Northern Development and Mines

Description:

The Ontario Geological Survey (part of the Ontario Ministry of Northern Development and Mines) makes available for purchase the results of many geophysical surveys. They wished to promote these works and give the prospective buyer a means to view the location and methodology of the surveys.

Sudbury Theatre Centre

Sudbury Theatre Centre (2001- 2003)

Description:

The Sudbury Theatre Centre wished to have its 2001/2002 season's productions up on its website. Each of the past three years, the STC has had a different contractor create a new website: this year, it was my opportunity.

Completed and maintained for two years, now maintained by another developer

Client:

Colleges and Universities of the Anglican Communion Organization

Description:

The CUAC project was the result of a successful contract with Thorneloe University (see below): the newly appointed executive director of CUAC was the Provost of Thorneloe University. The quality of my work and my reasonable fees helped make the decision to contract me an easy one for the director. The multinational nature of the CUAC membership forced me to consider both complex and simple web technical methods of delivering the information.

Description:

Although Thorneloe University had a website before I was contracted, it needed a major overhaul. I have since then expanded the the usefulness of the site for both students and faculty and have added a mini-site for the Thorneloe Theatre as well.

Holy Redeemer Parish, Sudbury, Ontario

Description:

At the time I started this project, I was a computer teacher wondering what was all the fuss about webpages and HTML. After running through a few tutorials, I decided to try to put my work into action. Holy Redeemer Parish is my parish and I offered my newly-acquired skills to them at no cost: they gratefully accepted my offer. This is the one and only site I have built with frames and I quite enjoyed using that method.
